1. Pack your bags!  You are getting ready to journey into Guatemala. You will need to use your previous knowledge and research to find out new information which will make your journey possible and enjoyable.  At the end of this Quest, you will know all about Guatemala.

2. Your task is to use a variety of resources including the Internet to research Guatemala.  After researching that country in depth, you will then create a poster of Guatemala a travel journal of your visit using PowerPoint. Your PowerPoint Presentations will include information on five of the following topics.

popular tourists spots  
history and location of any ancient ruins 
typical foods
weather and climate
major cities
bodies of water 
population
types of jobs and industries available
type of money used
exchangeof that country's money versus US dollars
basic travel information
You and your partner will create a one week-long travel journal using PowerPoint.  Your journal should include:
 
  • what kind of clothing you would need to pack
  • what you could expect to eat
  • how much money you would need to take with you 
  • the places you would visit
  • activities you could do while there
  • any other information you wish to include

PowerPoints will be between 5 - 10 slides long. The should include pictures and must be grammatically correct.
