Brainstorm numerous ideas of stories you could tell about your own exprience that would be appropriate to submit for a college personal statement.
Support your intended effect (creation of mood and tone) using literary techniques such as: characterization, setting, beginning and ending, figurative language, alliteration and allusion.
Edit your personal narrative and engage in the on-going process of revision.
